Getting started
What is Growerslink?
Growerslink is a map-first directory and marketplace for Australian horticulture — growers, farms, nurseries, hydroponic stores, seed suppliers and more. Search the directory, find businesses near you on the map, buy and sell in the classifieds, and run a full online store.
Do I need an account?
Browsing the directory, map and classifieds is completely free and needs no account. Joining is free too — and an account is what unlocks the good part: buying products, booking services, and messaging businesses directly. It takes a minute, so most people sign up the moment they find something they want.
How do I create an account?
Use the Sign up link in the top menu, or register with Google in one click. It is free, and you can start buying, booking and messaging straight away.
For businesses
I run a horticulture business — how do I get on the map?
Getting listed is free on our Essential plan: a pin on the interactive map, a place in the directory, a basic profile, and one free classified ad a month — no card required. If your business is already in our directory, claim it to take control. If it is not listed yet, get in touch and we will help you get set up.
What is the Essential plan?
Essential is simply the free plan for businesses. It is not something you buy — you are on it automatically once your business is listed and claimed. When you are ready for more (extra classifieds, a verified badge, or a full storefront), you can upgrade to a paid plan at any time.
My business is already listed — how do I manage it?
Find it in the directory and use Claim to verify ownership. Once claimed, you can edit your details, hours and photos, and respond to enquiries from your dashboard — all free on Essential.
Does it really cost nothing to be listed?
Correct. A claimed listing on the Essential plan costs nothing, with no card and no trial to expire. Paid plans only add extras like more classifieds, a verified badge, and a storefront.
Buying & selling
How do I buy a product or book a service?
Browse as much as you like without an account, but to buy a product or book a service you will need a free account — that is how we keep your orders, bookings and messages together in one place. Signing up takes a minute and costs nothing.
How do classifieds work?
Classifieds let businesses post fresh produce, seedlings, used gear or surplus stock. Anyone can browse them — and because they are location-aware, they also appear on the map for nearby buyers. Posting is a business feature: once your business is listed (free, on Essential) you get one free classified a month, with more on paid plans.
How do I contact a business?
Open any listing or business profile and use the contact button to send a message. When you are signed in, replies arrive in your Growerslink inbox as well as by email.
Is there a full online store option?
Yes. Storefronts let businesses sell with professional design and integrated payments. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
Billing & payments
What does it cost?
Browsing is free, and a free account covers everything a buyer needs. For businesses, getting listed is free on Essential; paid plans add classifieds, a verified badge and storefronts from a few dollars a month. Full, current prices are on the pricing page.
How are payments handled — is my card safe?
Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal, the same providers used by major retailers worldwide. Your card details are entered directly with them and are never stored on Growerslink — we only keep a secure reference to the transaction. You can manage your plan and payment details from your dashboard.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Manage your subscription from the Payments section of your dashboard. If anything is unclear, contact us and we will sort it out.
Map & directory
The map won't load or find my location.
Allow location access when your browser asks, or search by suburb instead. If the map still does not load, try a hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R). Still stuck? Let us know via the contact page.
How is the directory organised?
By state and category — hydroponic stores, nurseries, seed suppliers, orchards, market gardens and more. Use the search and filters to narrow it down, or switch to the map to search by location.
